This specific design is the classic Flat-Top Hydraulic Surgery Table pioneered by Shor-Line (Schroer Manufacturing Co., USA).  Shor-Line first introduced hydraulic-lift flat-top tables in the late 1950s using heavy cast-iron/enamel bases. The transition to full stainless steel welded pyramid bases (like this one) became the standard industry design throughout the 1970s and  1980s. Surgical-grade 304 stainless steel is virtually impervious to wear, water, and staining, making it a low-maintenance, lifetime investment for the end user.

The exposed hydraulic foot pedal, central column, and manual tilt levers turn a functional object into a striking, kinetic conversation piece for lofts, creative studios, or contemporary interiors, adding dramatic visual contrast.
