Some chairs are built to fill a room; The Prince chair was built to tell a story.

Born from a 2001 design competition to create a seat fit for HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark. This masterpiece is a poetic meditation on the life of modern royalty. It captures the delicate balance between centuries of rigid tradition and the transparent, vulnerable life of a prince in the public eye.

At first glance, the chair appears as light as paper cutting - an intentional nod to the whimsical silhouette of Hans Cristian Andersen. But look closer and you'll discover a feat of high tech engineering.

While it famously didn't win the competition, it won the world - now it is a part of permanent collections of MoMa NY and Center Pompidou.

MADE IN DESIGN

BE UNIQUE. Vintage pieces are often one-of-a-kind, providing a unique and distinctive style that cannot be replicated by modern mass-produced items. This allows to express our individuality and stand out from the crowd. Pre-loved items often have a rich history and storytelling aspect to them.

IF YOU ARE GREEN, BUYING VINTAGE IS YOUR NATURAL CHOICE. vintage items are often of high quality, crafted with attention to detail and durability. This means that they can often outlast newer items, providing long-lasting and reliable use. Buying vintage is a sustainable choice as it reduces the demand for new products and supports the idea of recycling and reusing.

TRAVELLING IN TIME IS MORE THAN REAL. Owning a vintage piece can connect us to a different era and give us a glimpse into the past.
